Diptych, Stationary Funnel Pour

The colours used in this video are Prussian Blue Hue by Golden, Primary Magenta by Rheo Tech, Phthalo Blue (Green Shade) by Golden, Alizarin Crimson Hue by Golden, Turquoise by Rheo Tech, Cerulean Blue Hue by Grumbacher, Phthalo Green by Rheo Tech, Quinacridone Magenta by Golden, Ultramarine Blue by Liquitex, and Titanium White by Amsterdam.

I mixed my colours 1 part paint and 3 parts Floetrol. Nothing else added.
I set up my two canvases on a pegboard held together with wooden dowels and foam. I wanted to be able to tilt the two canvases at the same time.

I've seen funnel pour videos but not the way I'm doing this funnel pour. I'm calling this a Stationary Funnel pour. I drilled a hole in a piece of 1 by 2 piece of wood, stuck my funnel in there. I duct taped my wood onto paint containers to keep the wood from moving in case I knocked it or something.

My goal was to have a heart at the top of the diptych but it didn't work out the way I wanted it to. I've learned from the video, what mistakes I made and will be trying again to achieve my goal.

I learned about Fluid Painting in 2018, loved it. Circumstances and covid led me to take a break from painting. I'm back with a lot of ideas. Please come and watch. I'm looking forward to sharing with you.
