In shipping as in the world, dramatic and historical moments are alternated with the little things and interactions of everyday life.

We travel back in history to a moment of wonderous timing when Hans Höglund, father of Furetank CEO Lars Höglund, arrived to an accident scene where two Danish ships had collided. One was sinking and he was just in time to pick up crew members in distress. You see the wreck on its way down.

Next is Beda Höglund knitting on board: Lars grandfather's sister. Hands always busy, no time wasted, "an amazing lady who knew everything and always had a strong opion", according to Lars 😉 Master is Hans Höglund.
Then we meet a big U.S. military ship entering Gothenburg in an era of strong urban development: watch as the bridge Älvsborgsbron is being built! The Swedish flag is raised to greet our American friends.

A mockup interview between crew members Evert Karlsson and Christer Carlsson on board follows: are they making fake news, perhaps? And once again we finish with a mystery man: who is the handsome gentleman lighting a cigarette, something that would never happen on board our tanker ships today?
