Terraform enables you to create, change and improve infrastructure reliably and predictably, it's open source and lets you create declarative configuration files that can be treated as code. (Infrastructure As Code). In this video, Nick will take you through the steps required to build a Windows 2016 Virtual Machine in Azure.
He will show you how to create the configuration file for a basic Azure instance, then run 'terraform plan' to view the changes planned in the terraform environment and then apply that configuration using the command 'terraform apply'. We will also work through the options for an Azure instance in terraform.

Prerequisites include:
An Azure Account
An Azure service principal
