It's for more TTRPG stuff here at the Library! I'm your Archivist and Librarian Mordio Crow and today--I'm also the Game Master! Tonight, I'm taking some inspiration from recently released Daggerheart to write up one of my homebrew settings in the format of their Campaign Frames!

Daggerheart is a very neat TTRPG! We playtested it in one of its earlier betas over    • Two Vtubers Playtest Daggerheart! Part 1 o...   if you're interested! In this video, we don't talk about the system itself too much, and instead are focused on just the tooling given to pitch campaign settings.

This second setting we're framing up is the one I'm currently running in my non-streamed TTRPG campaign! It's inspired by the real life history and cultures of Cuba (which is where I, your humble librarian, derive my heritage from in part). I've done a good bit of research and reading on the subject!

It's /almost/ a modern fantasy setting! Taking place on an island of miracles and magic ravaged by monsters and specters, it also is possessed of seven nations each with strong ideologies and different forms of government. It takes the lore of the region and weaves it with some Fire Emblem: Three Houses and JRPG (Tales of and Final Fantasy) dna into something I'm having a lot of fun running! I hope you'll enjoy listening in to my yapping about it, and perhaps it'll inspire some characters or settings for you as well?
