Accountability to affected populations is easy to preach, but more difficult to practice. In this video, the Humanitarian Accountability Partnership introduces the 2010 HAP Standard in Accountability and Quality Management, and the six benchmarks that, if implemented, help to place accountability to affected populations at the heart of humanitarian action.

Humanitarian Accountability Partnership International was a multi-agency initiative working to improve the accountability of humanitarian action to people affected by disasters and other crises.
HAP merged with People In Aid on 2015 to form the CHS Alliance.
