Nevada Chukar Hunt -- The Wishuknews

Chukar hunting is generational -- some have been chukar hunting all their life, while others are new to the chase. Regardless, it keeps us young, and our dogs happy.

This past season, Mark Evatz and his English Setter, Aspen, got on a few chukar in the fictitious "Wishuknew Mountian Range," while Jacob Bobenmoyer and his GSP, Flynn, joined us for a few days in the Nevada desert. Jacob, originally from Wyoming and now living in Las Vegas where he current plays for the Raiders, donated his game-worn cleats to the Chukar Chasers Foundation through the NFL's "My Cause My Cleats," which will be auctioned at the April 2024 dinner in Reno, Nevada 2024 -- www.raiders.com/community/my-cause-my-cleats
