Hello everyone! Welcome back to my channel. Today, I'm going to show you how to change the cutting deck belt on a Husqvarna TS354XD with a 54" ClearCut™ fabricated deck. This is a straightforward process, and you won't need to remove the cutting deck. Let's get started!

First, let's gather the tools and parts you'll need:

A 3/8 inch socket to remove the pulley cover guards.
A 14 mm socket to remove the belt guide from the pulley.
The primary mower belt, which is 137 inches long, with part number 582-23-63-01 or 582236301.
Please refer to your specific parts sticker inside the hood of the riding mower or your service manual for your exact part number.

Ensure the mower is turned off and the key is removed.
Engage the parking brake and lower the cutting deck to its lowest position.

Using your 3/8 inch socket, remove the three bolts securing the pulley cover guard on the left side, and the four bolts securing the pulley cover guard on the right side. Set the bolts and guards aside.

Use the 14 mm socket to remove the belt guide tensioner from the pulley. Loosen the eye bolt that is holding the tensioner spring.

Position the new belt around the pulleys, following the same routing as the old belt. Refer to the routing sticker on the top of the deck. Push the tensioner pulley forward to relieve some tension on the belt and carefully place belt around the final pulley.

Secure the belt guide back onto the pulley using the 14 mm socket.

Using the 3/8 inch socket, reattach the pulley cover guards with the bolts you set aside earlier.

Ensure the belt is properly seated on all pulleys.
Turn the mower on briefly to check the belt alignment and tension.

And that's it! You've successfully changed the cutting deck belt on your Husqvarna TS354XD.
