The Artists :
JOHN KARLO DELA CRUZ began taking flute lessons at the age of nine, under the supervision of Mr. Gianpaolo Rivera, the Band Conductor of Banda San Jose in Las Pinas.

He then passed the entrance exam and audition at the University of the Philippines-Diliman, College of Music. There, he became a member of UP Symphonic Band, UP ROTC Band, and casual musician of UP Symphony Orchestra. He is now graduating with the course Associate in Arts with a primary concentration of flute and plans to pursue a Bachelor of Music degree with a major in flute performance.

RALPH PATRICK AREVALO is a flute student at the UP Diliman College of Music under the tutelage of renowned flutist Antonio Maigue. He grew up in a musically inclined family, and under the influence of his father and his first teacher Gianpaolo Rivera, he started playing the piccolo at the age of 9. His early experiences with Banda San Jose in Las Piñas City provided him with valuable learning opportunities and a strong foundation in music.

Mr. Arevalo's commitment to his craft is evident through his achievements, including winning 1st prize at the Bacoor International Music Competition (BIMC). He has also enriched his skills by participating in masterclasses and workshops with both local and international musicians.

Currently, Mr. Arevalo is an active member of the UP Symphonic Band and the UP ROTC Band. Despite his busy schedule, he finds time to indulge in his other passion, basketball, during his free time.
