Apparently 40 is not too old to learn new tricks. I have not yet looked up how to play piano. So I don’t know how to hold my hands “properly” or how to do much other than plunk keys clumsily, even so, I learned 3 new Christmas songs today after unearthing my piano from a kiddie pool I had briefly (2 months) laid on top of my piano chair to “put away later”. I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to remember what note the “D” under the staff was. I kept playing it as a B or a C trying to figure out why it sounded odd. I completely forgot that D exists at all. So hopefully that gives you an indicator of how little I know what I’m doing, if my demonstration of it here was not enough.

I don’t practice much (did the kiddie pool thing give it away? Or my poor playing haha!) so I haven’t tried bohemian rhapsody again since this first day that I transcribed the notes off the internet and tried it out. But i hope to get back to it cuz I think, by the sounds of this, that I might actually be able to play that one section fluidly next time I try it. I was alllllmost there. Sort of. Kinda.
