Hi! I'm proud to present the first episode of Trackmania Elevated, where I tackle the 1UP Challenge on the official campaigns of TM2020.
This challenge consists of placing the finish block(s) 1 block higher, and trying to validate the map.
It's a really fun challenge that I discovered in TM², and with those videos I try to show the solutions I came up with, in a hopefully entertaining and dynamic manner.
It's the first time that I try to use the replay editor for more than raw rendering, any feedback in that regard is appreciated 😄
All the validated maps are available to play in the Winter 2021 1UP campaign, or directly in my club #VITESSE.
Edit: I want to point out that there is a more "official" 1UP campaign made by dragonpntm called Winter 2021 1-UP, also available in the club Nadeo 1UP. At the time of publishing this video, I didn't know about this campaign (I only searched for "1UP" and not "1-UP"...), but I would recommend checking out dragon's campaign instead despite those maps having some slight differences (some even allowing a map to be finishable). For future campaigns, I will keep making my own versions so that I can go through the process of validating them and everything much easier, but I won't be creating campaigns, and will instead redirect interested players to the Nadeo 1UP club.
