Описание к видео Afghanistan: The Wounded Land | Official Trailer | Doc World

Afghanistan was opened to the world in the '60s but the country was at a crossroads. When communists seized power, a war began that hasn't ended. Narrated by Khaled Hosseini (The Kite Runner), the four-part series looks at six decades of Afghan history through the eyes of those who were there. Their memories of the Golden Age, 9/11 and more open new perspectives into Afghanistan, its people and its destiny. The documentary grants insight into what went tragically wrong in the past...and what future is being hoped for.
