Tunisia: Hundreds Protest as School Wall Collapse Kills 3 | Firstpost Africa | N18G

Hundreds are protesting after a school wall collapse claimed the lives of three students in a small town. The incident took place in the central Tunisian town of Mazouna. A dilapidated school wall collapsed, killing three teenage students who were preparing for exams. Two others were also seriously injured. Hundreds gathered near the Mazouna National Guard post to demand "justice." Residents blocked roads with burning tyres and smashed a government vehicle. Protesters chanted against social marginalisation and demanded the dismissal of local officials. Protests have also erupted in the capital, Tunis, where hundreds of young people took to the streets, raising anti-government slogans and demanding the resignation of President Kais Saied.
