Islamic University of Technology (IUT) is an educational and research institution run and funded by OIC (Organisation of Islamic Cooperation). It is physically located in Bangladesh, and is owned by OIC (57 member states). It is regarded as one of the top-notch prestigious institutions for engineering and technical education in Bangladesh.
The main objective of IUT is to contribute in developing the human resources of the member states of the OIC, particularly in the fields of Engineering, Technology & Technical Education. IUT receives direct endowment from OIC member countries and offers scholarships to its students in the form of free tuition, boarding, lodging & medicare.
IUT represents one of the concepts and visions, of Muslim Ummah. You learn from there to think about Ummah, not just bounded by narrow nationalism thinking.
