I HIT LEGEND with Beast Hunter! - Hearthstone Standard Ranked Gameplay vs Protoss Priest
In this video you can see my Beast Hunter deck winning against Protoss Priest, and with that, I am reaching Legend rank in Hearthstone Standard.
This deck is surprisingly strong, I made it yesterday, and it was performing phenomenal all the way through to Legend (started from Diamond 5).
I really could not believe my eyes, it is so consistent.
Quest Warrior, Aura Paladin, BBU Death Knight, Protoss Mage or Priest, or any kind of Rogue deck is not a problem for this deck.
You win fast, mostly by turn six or seven, but if the games are getting longer, even after that the deck is holding up very good against all the other decks.
I was surprised how good it is.
After a couple of games I came to this final version, and after that I rarely lost any games, maybe 4, and I think all of them was against Demon Hunter decks (including two games for legend already, this game was my third attempt).
When too many Blob of Tars start to show up on the board, the game is getting heavy...
The deck can win, and I also won games against Demon Hunter, but it is not easy.
I am still not sure how Blob of Tar did not get nerfed to 5 mana long time ago...
The deck is harder to play with, as you would think, as you can see in this game as well.
You have to think very good which cards to play which turn, and sometimes bait the opponent with some tricky plays, and play the joker cards like Supreme Dinomancy or City Chief Esho after.
This list can burst a lot of damage in one go, but the best is to build the pressure turn by turn in a smart way.
All the spells are super strong, Fetch, Cower in Fear, Ball of Spiders just give so much tempo and value, and also one of the Across the Timeways card I use, Wormhole, as it also can give such advantage, for example with a Workhorse hitting a minion down, or getting a King Mukla is just feels great.
Devious Coyote is the other card from the new set, which is insane with Jungle Gym, but it is just a good finisher with the Stealth on its own.
It is a budget deck, give it a try, have fun with it, and let me know in the comments how it went.
