Gold can also be obtained by advancing through certain tiers of the Battle Pass, completing the Starter Missions, leveling up Fighters to level 5, leveling up your account, recieving Toast.
Playing in a party awards you with +30% Gold at the end of a match.

The game features various characters within the Warner Bros. Discovery catalog, including those from Warner Bros., DC Comics, HBO, Turner Entertainment, and Cartoon Network. The open beta for the game was released on July 26, 2022, which was confirmed to serve as a soft launch for the game, while an early access version was released one week prior on July 19 for those that participated in the game's closed playtests and/or competing in the upcoming 2v2 tournament in the 2022 Evolution Championship Series, and via Twitch's Drops reward system and/or purchasable founder packs, in which are available for a limited time.
