Transcript: China EV Post reports that Geely just had another huge month, selling over 307,000 vehicles in October—a new company record for the second straight month. The big driver behind this surge is their sub-brand, Geely Galaxy, which sold over 127,000 units last month alone. That’s double what it sold a year ago and marks its third monthly record in a row.

From January through October, Geely Galaxy has already sold more than 1 million vehicles, beating its annual target two months early. Geely overall has sold nearly 2.5 million vehicles so far this year, a 44 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

One standout model is the recently launched Geely Galaxy Starshine 6, a plug-in hybrid sedan starting at just $9,670. It offers up to 78 miles of electric range and is aimed squarely at budget-conscious families.

Also worth noting—Geely’s Lynk & Co brand sold over 40,000 vehicles in October, while Zeekr delivered just over 21,000. And on the export front, Geely shipped more than 41,000 vehicles overseas last month. Their domestic China sales climbed to over 265,000 units for October, showing strong momentum across the board.
