Tongue & Groove Pine Board | TOP THREE Challenges When Installing

Описание к видео Tongue & Groove Pine Board | TOP THREE Challenges When Installing

Looking to learn more about tongue and groove wood ceiling install? In this video I share our experience and learnings! This method could also be used to create a cool accent or feature wall.

We used secondary tongue and groove pine boards to create a budget friendly high impact ceiling design feature in the 'project room' of our shop. Using a brad nailer this tongue and groove material was easy to install; measure, cut, nail and REPEAT! Other useful power tools: miter saw, jig saw & table saw.

A couple of challenges that needed some finesse:
1) Secondary pine is a lower quality product and some of the widths were inconsistent
2) Cutting around light fixtures and fans is a slow meticulous process. Measure thrice - cut once!
3) Closing the gap on the final piece. Did you know a room is seldomly perfectly square? It took some skill to cut the final row to a proper width.
Full details in the video :)
