About this video: Hytale has a few different methods of joining other people’s worlds. We are going over all of these in this video allowing you to find the perfect way to join your friends Hytale worlds!

The easiest and primary way to join other worlds in Hytale is using share codes. This starts on the world you are joining. The player with the world launches it, and then, they go to Settings. Select “Online Play”. Turn “Allow Other Players to Join” to the “On” setting and click “Save”.

A Share Code will now appear with a “Copy” button to click next to it. Click this to copy it, and send it to who you want to join your world.

The person joining will then go to “Servers” and click “Join via Code” in the bottom right. Paste the code in and join it. It’s that easy to join a friends world in Hytale.

Commonly though, you will run into issues with joining the Hytale world with the code. This is usually because the person you are trying to join doesn’t UPNP enabled. They can turn this on and you can join. The other most common reason is due to CGNAT. This is basically your ISP preventing the connection. Contact them to figure out the issue and allow port forwarding.
