Garmin Gravel Worlds 2024 - Elite Men's Raw Highlights

A day that started off extremely well for me, making the main breakaway at mile 20. We had built ourselves up to a 4 minute lead by mile 75: however, things had started to turn south for me already with signs of cramping coming on. Come mile 80 and I have a complete lockup in my left hamstring.

Unfortunately things only go worse from there as my stomach flipped upside down, and I had to take a trip to the port - o - john at mile 119. It was just survival to the finish from there from me. A bittersweet day, one goal achieved, another crumbled away.

Time to rest and recover, next up for me will be Gravel Nationals!
