Sanwa Octagonal Gate used: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004AU0H4U?...
Reddit thread I briefly mentioned:   / sanwa_restrictor_fits_in_hayabusa

What you'll need:
A Power Drill & 2mm thick drill bit (use the standard/metal type)
A Razor Blade
A Screwdriver (same one you used to open the panel, dummy)
A Marker or good memory
Optional: Longer machine screws (because the Sanwa plate is a bit thicker than the Hori one)

Step 1: Remove old plate and put screws aside
Step 2: Place Sanwa Gate with the Sanwa right-side up (readable) and facing the cable storage area (if confused, see video 4:13)
Step 3: All pegs should fit inside the Hori actuator holes; thus, mark them or remember which pegs you're going to screw out (compare to the Hori plate if confused)
Step 4: Drill the pilot holes through the pegs
Step 5: Once drilled through, use a razor blade flush to the plate and remove any debri
Step 6: Screw gate on. Note: since the screws provided are small, you will need to apply a bit more pressure for them to screw in the thread.
Step 7: Test / put everything back together
Step 8: Stop rage quitting and git gud
Step 9: Seriously. Stop rage quitting.
