Law enforcement officials say all buildings on St. John's University have been searched and that the lockdown has been lifted, allowing people to leave their offices and go home. Officials added that students are allowed to move around campus to get food, but they encourage them to stay in their residence halls.

Authorities say no suspect has been located and are urging people to lock and secure their doors at home, as well as check their cars before entering their vehicles. Anyone with information about the suspect should call 911.
