A quick 5 hr train ride East and we arrive in Montreal, Quebec, site of the 27th stop on the MLS Tour. The Stade Saputo would eventually gift us a very entertaining, yet frustrating match between 2nd place hosts, CF Montreal and Wayne Rooney's DC United. We would arrive in the afternoon so we did not really get the chance to explore as much as we would have liked, but thankfully we stumbled upon Eaton Central. There we had some delicious Japanese food and a couple of brewskies at the Time Out Market. We then proceeded to check into our Airbnb, squeezed in a power nap and prepared ourselves for the trip to the Stade Saputo. A quick walk to the station, followed by a swift 10 min train ride we found ourselves at Olympic Park, site of the 1976 Olympics, and the very Stade Saputo. It was nice to walk around and see what the park has to offer, which is plenty, but sadly we did not have enough time to venture into any of them. Instead we entered the stadium and explored it to the full extent. I found the layout quite interesting, especially where our seats were. I'm still trying to figure out whether I liked where we sat. lol Nonetheless, the Stade Saputo is such a precious, and intimate place full of great atmosphere, perfect for my 2nd to last match.

Oh! 1 thing I totally forgot to note is Montreal's primary language is French! So it legit felt like we had traveled to a whole new country, such a surreal feeling. Of course, most speak English as well, I just thought I'd share that with y'all in case you ever decide to travel to Quebec, which I highly suggest! Anyways, go check out how it all went down!
