Accurate diagnosis is very important when dealing with thymic malignancies because treatment plans may vary based on tumor type. Dr. Marina Chiara Garassino joins Dr. Nicolas Girard from the International Thymic Malignancy Interest Group (ITMIG) to discuss the importance of accurate diagnosis and seeking care from a multi-disciplinary group of experts such as the team at UChicago Medicine’s Thymoma and Thymic Malignancies Program.
