Welcome to another episode of Country Pilgrim, where I show you where to go, stay and play in the Midwest. This episode we are taking the Highway 4 Trail. This highway in Iowa runs 146 miles from North of Estherville, Iowa to Panora, Iowa at Lake Panorama.

This highway is interesting because along the highway, and in different towns that run along the route (or nearby) there are different sites and places of interest - making it a fun and quirky little adventure. Perfect for a Country Pilgrim styled road trip adventure1

In this episode we start in Estherville, Iowa and run through several smaller communities (they weren't all listed in this video but will be mentioned on my blog site) winding through Emmetsburg to see some famous icon figures at the local A&W to running over through the next town and visiting the famous Mallard Duck sign! The trip continues to Pocahontas to see the giant princess, and ends in Manson, Iowa to see the famous Manson Meteorite site.
The Manson site is of special note, because Highway 4 doesn't directly run through Manson, but it was a short few mile drive - to catch a site of interest with the Manson Meteorite.
