LI African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc., a participating organization in the Community Navigator Pilot Program, is funded in part through United States Black Chamber’s grant with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) helps Americans start, build, and grow businesses.

SBA was created in 1953 as an independent agency of the federal government to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns, preserve free competitive enterprise and maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation.

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has three primary focuses Access to Capital, Counseling, and Contracting at the core of its mission.

The SBA is a great place to start for small business owners seeking to grow their companies and many companies rely of the SBA to help grow their businesses to scale.
