Powstała w 2015 roku w Berlinie i specjalizuje się w wykonywaniu muzyki barokowej. Zgodnie z tradycją orkiestr barokowych MSO występuje bez dyrygenta.
Mottem artystycznym zespołu jest zbliżenie się czy nawet naśladowanie techniki wykonawczej okresu baroku. Zespół pozostał wierny wspóczesnej technice wykonawczej, kożystając jednak ze starowłoskich
instrumentów uwczesnych lutników takich jak Testore czy Antoniazzi, wychodzi z założenia, że ta kompilacja- połączenie, stwarza większe możliwości brzmieniowe i techniczne skład orkiestry to 13 muzyków- solistów grających na instrumentach smyczkowych i klawesynie.
Współzałożycielami orkiestry są, Marlena Troch dyrektor firmy ,,Classic Musik for Motion“, oraz polski skrzypek Piotr Prysiaznik obecnie kierownik artystyczny zespołu i jego koncertmistrz.
Gdy do tego dodamy wirtuozerie i artyzm muzyków oraz temperament i osobowosc kierownika artystycznego Piotr Prysiaznika , uzyskujemy obraz zespolu i jego koncepcję- kredo artystyczne.
Repertuar Motion String Orchestra obok standardowych dzieł znanych kompozytorow barokowych jak Vivaldi, Bach, Corelli, Händel , Pergolesi, Boccerini , Telemann, tworzą dzieła i kompozytorzy mniej znani tacy jak Jarzebski , Heinichen, Marcello , Rolla .


MOTION STRING ORCHESTRA was established in 2015 and specializes in performing baroque music. The orchestra consists of 13 musicians - soloists playing stringed instruments and harpsichord. 
The co-founders of the orchestra are Marlena Troch, director of the company "Classic Musik for Motion", and Polish violinist Piotr Prysiaznik, currently the artistic director of the ensemble and its concertmaster. 

In keeping with the tradition of baroque orchestras, the MSO performs without a conductor. The artistic aim of the ensemble is to present for audiences an elegant combination of baroque era approaches to music and sound with the excellence of modern performance practice. The use of fine instruments of the time of the compositions from celebrated violin makers, such as Testore or Antoniazzi, provides profound tonal and technical possibilities. When we add to this the virtuosity and artistry of the musicians as well as the temperament and personality of artistic director Piotr Prysiaznik, we begin to get the full picture of the ensemble . 
The Motion String Orchestra's repertoire, in addition to well established works by famous Baroque composers such as Vivaldi, Bach, Corelli, Händel, Pergolesi, Boccerini, Telemann, refreshingly includes works and composers less known such as Jarzebski, Heinichen, Marcello, and Rolla. 

The orchestra regularly performs concerts in which a special rapport between the musicians and audience is created.
