As an autistic girl, I’ve been curating my life with more intention lately.

Learning to accommodate myself instead of pushing through.

Building around my nervous system instead of overriding it.

This is what “starting like this” looks like for me:

🤍 Waking up naturally when life allows.
No alarm. No abrupt nervous-system shock.

🤍 Socialising on my terms.
And if that means not at all sometimes, I’m learning to trust that this is a season, not a lifetime.

🤍 Letting myself feel desire again.
Excitement. Ambition. Curiosity. Future threads I can work towards gently.

🤍 Wearing clothes that don’t fight my body.
No jeans (ever). Mostly loose skorts, soft jumpers, nothing restrictive.

🤍 Unlearning shame around my needs.
One song on repeat. Prioritising myself. Stepping out of people-pleasing.
(This one is a huge work in progress.)

🤍 Finding ways to “make a living” that fit my capacity.
Because I’m not currently fit for traditional work, I’m building something slower and softer.
My little bow business is underway, and for the first time, work feels like accommodation, not harm.

I’m not rushing this version of my life.
I’m letting it be built gently.
