It was time to upgrade my studio monitors speakers, as one of my good old TASCAM VL-A5 died some days ago, after working pretty good for the last almost 15 years if I remember good. So, here they are!!! The M-AUDIO BX8 D3 speakers give in my opinion a very good stereo image of the music and create enough distance between the instruments for clear mixes. On my first evening having them I already heard many mistakes on my older mixes. I’m glad I went for 8” speakers this time. Much more open sound. And they are SOOOOOOOOOOOO LOUD!!!! I mean, you can’t imagine how loud they can get. I’m never gonna use their full volume potential, but it’s good to have more power than you need.
