A PERFECT Guide to this Historic & Charming Place in Sarasota | Osprey Fl - Just south of Sarasota and in unincorporated Sarasota County, located right on Little Sarasota Bay, this is a small but diverse community of just over 6000 residents where you can find anything from multimillion-dollar estates on the water to mobile home parks, some significant established developments, and even some new builds as well.

This area used to be a transitional neighborhood between Sarasota and Venice, but over the years has become more established with businesses moving in and some great little neighborhoods.

I think Osprey can sometimes be overshadowed between Siesta Key and Venice. Still, the community has so much to offer, including Historic Spanish Point, fantastic local restaurants, and excellent public parks to enjoy as well.
