On 16 May 2017, University of London security officers and receptionists go on strike for the third time. For months they have been asking the university to implement pay rises it had promised six years ago, but their demands fall of deaf ears.

That day, Jeremy Irons is scheduled to give a reading of T.S. Eliot poems. As, the roars of the protestors float down the halls to where he is set to give his reading, he walks down to address the protesters.
