Angela introduces us to Paul's Antiques' store in the busy Sukhumvit area of Bangkok, Thailand. Paul's Antiques specializes in antique furniture from Thailand and the British colonial period in Burma. The furniture is made of golden teak, tropical hardwood once plentiful in the rainforests of Indochina brought overland to their workshop in Bangkok where each piece is restored to its original beauty. In addition to antique restoration Paul's Antiques onsite workshop also specializes in custom-made furniture from reclaimed (recycled) old teak.
