On the bench: FlySky FS i6 radio

By popular demand, a review of the popular FlySky FS i6 2.4GHz RC system with matching 6-channel telemetry enabled receiver.

Pros:
low cost
simple to use
small and lightweight
build-quality okay for such a cheap radio
AFHSD system uses about 90% of the band
can be upgraded to independent software

Cons:
uses a 4x AA battery holder (no lipo/Life option)
irritating inactivity alarm kicks way too quickly
no RSSI alarm
no haptic feedback and alarm beep is too quiet
no "simple" lipo telemetry
only one 3-position switch

Summary:
It's hard to complain, given the price and if the deficiencies of this radio are not important to you then it looks like pretty good value.
