Most of us are accidental agency owners who fell into this business. Starting out this way is usually haphazard and without the proper foundation. We end up working with anybody and everybody which has its share of highs and lows. But what I've learned in my 12 years as a digital agency owner is that there's a better way. And, when you have the right systems in place you can pick and choose the perfect client, giving you the ability to say no to the bad ones and leaving you open to work with just the perfect ones.

In this presentation at Digital Marketers "Digital Agency Expo" in September 2019, I talked about "5 Systems To Fill Your Pipeline So You Can Hand Pick Your Clients"

1 - Clarity: Create and clearly communicate your vision to your agency, identify what you love to do and what you hate doing and then create the structure which allows you that freedom.

2- Positioning: Become an authority in your market, where you are attracting your ideal accounts, and not having to deal with the small accounts that eat up all your time.

3- Offering: The winning formula for the order of services and products you should offer and what you should charge for your services.

4- Prospecting: Identifying what and where you need to be in order to increase leads and convert the leads into opportunities. Knowing the 3-channel approach to filling your pipeline and keeping it steady.

5- Sales: Qualifying leads, converting at a high percentage, presenting a proposal and how to handle common sales objections.
