Washing & Protecting A JDM Legend [ FD3S RX7 ]

In this video we are washing & protected a JDM legend, the FD3s RX7. The car was not necessarily dirty before we began, however it needed to be cleaned so that we could remove the light soiling and the water marks before we could lay down some protection, a liquid wax and ceramic spray wax.

This FD3S RX7 is owned by a good friend of ours and he decided that he wanted us to add some protection ready for the summer months so he can enjoy the vehicle. We started off by giving the wheels a good clean with our bleeding wheel cleaner, Primo and we prepared the tyres for dressing with our rubber & tyre cleaner, Rebound. We then gave the entire car a layer of our snowfoam, Piste so we could remove any loose soiling and agitate the rubbers and details with a soft detailing brush. After that we gave the car a mitt wash with out high concentration shampoo, Pure. Once the vehicle was washed we dried it so we could begin the protection stage. We decided to give this vehicle a coat of our liquid wax, Luminosity so we could boost gloss as well as add a layer of protection. After the liquid wax we topped the protection up with a layer of our ceramic spray wax, Prizm. The tyres were then dressed with our tyre & trim dressing, Trim Reaper. As you can see in the clip of the tyre dressing being applied, this is when the clouds opened and we started to get wet. Due to the weather we never recorded us cleaning the glass, however we cleaned and protected the windows in one with our water repellent glass cleaner, Vision.
