Liang Qichao's former residence is located in Chakeng Village, Xinhui District, Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province. It was built in the late Qing Dynasty. It includes the former residence, Yitang Study Room, and Cloister Showroom. It is the place where Liang Qichao was born and lived in his youth. It is a national key cultural relics protection unit and a Guangdong Provincial Patriotism Educational base. The Liang Qichao Memorial Hall is located on the south side of his former residence. It has the architectural charm of the Lingnan overseas Chinese hometown in the late Qing Dynasty and the architectural style of Tianjin Ice Drinking Room. It is used to display Liang Qichao's style, successful family education, and academic research results on Liang Qichao.
