How to Install and Use Lutris Wine-GE Build for Better Game Compatibility

In this video, I show you how to install and use the Lutris Wine-GE build to run games through Lutris with improved compatibility. The Wine-GE build integrates fixes from Proton-GE and additional support for external launchers like Blizzard Battle.net, Epic Games Store, EA Origin, and Uplay.

📝 Step 1: Installation
1. Go to the Wine-GE Custom GitHub Releases page.

2. Download the latest tar.xz build and extract it.
3. Copy the extracted folder and enable Hidden Files in your file explorer.
4. Paste the folder into the following directory.
/home/ryan/.local/share/lutris/runners/wine/ (adjust for your system if necessary).

🎮 Step 2: Using Wine-GE with Lutris
1. Launch Lutris.
2. Right-click on an installed game and select Configure.
3. Navigate to the Runner options tab.
4. From the Runner options, select the Wine-GE build from the list.
5. Click Save to apply the changes.
6. Now, when you launch the game, it will run using the Wine-GE custom build.
