This is in-flight video of my Hangar 9 .60 size Sbach 342. It has a DLE-20 in it and has a smoke system including wingtip smoke. I recently(pay no attention to the date on the insert video) had a buddy of mine take video of the plane in flight with my camcorder, while at the same time recording the flight with an on-board camera. You can see it taped to the canopy with blue painters tape at the end of the video. I plan to come up with some better mounting method in the future, but it served the purpose. Using software, I was able to sync up the two videos into what you see here. I think it came out pretty good. I can actually get the smoke heavier, but with the small tank that I currently have on it I had to dial down the flow to get it through the entire video. Thanks to my flying bud Alvin for doing a great job following the plane with the camcorder. I only lost him once. I'm not advertising the software that I used, but since it was a trial version, it watermarked the video. Luckily it's off to the side, unlike some that put the watermark right in the middle. The wingtip smoke system that I use is a pretty simple setup. I've been using it for a lot of years on many planes. I'll post a video of it if anyone is interested. Thanks for checking my video out.
