12 Year Old Scams Me on Xbox. He is officially the youngest scammer we caught during these investigations. Like the other scammers on Xbox, he was pretending to be selling modded GTA accounts on Xbox. He was found in the Xbox LFG advertising Xbox accounts he was selling. He claimed to have had experience with selling accounts and showed me pictures of the two he was selling. Of course, all that was a lie to persuade me into buying. And on CashApp, the 12 year old scammed me for a whopping $15. Simply amazing…

I was in the Looking for Groups, shopping for scammers, and came across his post that said he was selling two modded GTA accounts for $10 and $15. I got interested in these posts. I pretty much knew he was scamming but considering he is 12 years old and sounded very young, I gave him the benefit of the doubt. You don’t really find a lot of 12 year old scamming other people on Xbox. I got into his Xbox Party Chat and discussed business as usual.

He sent me two pictures of the modded GTA Xbox accounts. As I stated previously, this doesn’t prove he’s legit since he could’ve just sent the pictures of his personal accounts or real modded accounts but not willing to sell them. The gamertags were not present in the pictures but something else popped up that pretty much showed this was his personal account. His friend’s gamertag was on that picture, and his current gamertag was on his friends list. This pretty much proves that his current gamertag was the modded account he claimed to be selling. I didn’t pick that up during the purchase, only during editing.

Long story short, he sent me the email address to the account. I verified that it was a legitimate email address. After sending him the $15 on CashApp, he sent me 3 different passwords to waste my time and buy himself sometime. As I was trying it out, he said “Scammer gets scammed,” and ran away from the Xbox Party Chat. He then proceeded to block me like every scammer pretty much does after the transaction. I tried following up with him but he locked up, as typical with scammers on Xbox.

While I had the evidence to work with, I messaged his friend that was shown on the modded GTA account. His friend did not respond. And no evidence to prove he knew about the scam was present. But I included him in the video since he was friends with the scammer. On occasion, I checked the Xbox LFG posts to see if he was attempting to scam again but couldn’t find any posts which is also typical with scammers on Xbox. But I’m pretty confident that this was NOT his first time scamming and he’ll attempt to do it again. I’ll be sure to be there to call him out, since I’m very well aware of the scammer presence on Xbox LFG. I got scammed so you don’t have to!
