Did you know that balloon manufacturers use glass molds to make balloons?The process starts by placing glass tubes into an automatic washing machine to thoroughly clean them, removing all dust and impurities. Next, the molds are dipped into a special solution that forms a thin insulating layer between the glass and the rubber, making it easier to separate the balloons from the molds later.
After this treatment, the molds are dipped into tanks of liquid rubber in various colors. The rubber coats the molds and forms the vibrant balloons. As the molds are lifted out, they pass through a set of soft gears that shape the balloon's neck.
Then, the molds are moved into a separation chamber. Here, compressed air is blown in to detach the rubber layer from the glass mold. The balloons are then transferred to a vulcanization chamber to set their shape and increase elasticity.
Finally, the balloons are inflated so designs can be printed on their surface. They undergo quality control, and those that meet the standard are carefully packaged and ready for distribution to the market.
