Someone DM'd me the other day saying how they thought the newborn stage looked "easy" from what we shared on social media with our last baby.

Well, the reality was that I was going through a hard season and wasn't in a place to share honestly at the time. I was stressed out, exhausted, confused, and not really enjoying the newborn phase... because I didn't know it was a "phase". It truly felt like my whole life would be this tough forever, and I think that's what sent me into a little PPD.

I want to look back on this video when I'm postpartum with our 2nd baby in a few months and remind myself of reality when my brain isn't capable of thinking outside of what is. The newborn stage can be a struggle. What would you go back and tell yourself? ♥️
