Описание к видео What Are Marsquakes?

MARSQUAKES
Now, you might've experienced an earthquake before. But have you ever heard of Marsquakes? Well, they've been helping scientists discover some pretty interesting things about the planet's interior. Scientists have been carefully analysing a bunch of Marsquakes. Okay, well, they weren't actually there. But NASA's InSight lander was! During its stay on Mars, and before its retirement in 2022, this little guy recorded over a thousand Marsquakes. But scientists realised 8 of them had more distinct frequencies, and with a little help from AI, they worked out this was being caused by pockets of ancient debris from its chaotic formation, trapped deep inside the mantle. It reveals that the red planet actually has a more fragmented interior than we thought, and gives us a glimpse into not only Mars' ancient history, but also other planets like Venus and Mercury. Plus, it's also a reminder of how unique we are! Because Earth's interior is constantly being churned up.

GOLD COAST SUNS
It was record-making night at the AFL Awards! Every year, an expert panel picks the best players from the comp for the 'All Australian' team. Melbourne Demons star Max Gawn made the team for the 8th time, a joint record, while this year's top goalkicker, Geelong forward Jeremy Cameron, was named captain. Something even he was surprised by, saying he's never captained a team before. Collingwood young gun Nick Daicos was voted player of the season by his peers. At 22, he's the youngest to win the trophy in more than 2 decades!

SPECIAL MUSIC SCHOOL
Students with special needs are getting the chance to be part of Queensland's Instrumental Music Program for the first time ever, a program which has been part of other schools for more than 50 years. Yep, these students from the Gold Coast are the first kids from a Special School to take part in Queensland's Instrumental Music Program, which has been offered in mainstream schools since 1971. It's all part of a pilot program to see whether kids with special needs can keep up with the state's curriculum, and so far they've been pulling it off. The program is led by an Aria award winning teacher, and once a week, the students travel to another school take lessons in percussion and perform in ensembles! It's something the students say they look forward too, and they hope other kids with special needs can be part of the program too in the future.

BUSKER RECORD
First up to a busker in Northern Ireland who's just set the world record for the longest busking session ever. The previous official record was 24 hours. Martin Rafferty is a local music teacher, and hopes to raise money for charity with his marathon performance. He also had to stick to a few rules, including not playing the same song twice within a four hour window, and each song had to be at least two and a half minutes long.

ROBOT
Now to a robot Tibetan antelope in China which has just been set loose to help conservationists get a better look at wild antelope populations.

APPLE CABLE CAR
And finally to lots and lots of apples in northern Italy, which are all getting transported a little differently this year. This special apple cable car system has just been built to help farmers move their produce more efficiently, scrapping the need for about 5,000 truck trips per year.
