Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this BulletProof Hitches road suppressor adjustable channel bracket. Now this channel mount features built-in polyurethane bushings that will absorb vibration. It'll help reduce road shock, and this is going to reduce trailer bounce for a smoother steadier ride. It's also going to help reduce driver fatigue.
Now because of the polyurethane bushings, this mount is gonna require virtually no maintenance. Taking a closer view here, you can see those polyurethane bushings right here. And so by minimizing vibrations, this is going to safeguard both your trailer cargo and the suspension system of your tow vehicle, prolonging their lifespan and reducing wear and tear. This is going to greatly reduce tire wear and minimize the chances of breaking welds or causing other long-term damage to your equipment. So this channel bracket has three mounting positions for your coupler.
And on your screen, I just kind of wanted to give you an example of what your traditional ball coupler would look like here on the front channel. So you can also mount to a lunette ring or a clevis on this. And this is constructed of heavy-duty steel with a black powder coat finish that's going to help resist rust and corrosion. And this has a maximum towing capacity of 36,000 pounds. This is going to support an optimal tongue weight from 2,000 to 3,000 pounds and then a maximum tongue weight of 4,000 pounds.
So this is going to ensure that you can handle a wide range of towing needs with confidence. And, by the way, BulletProof Hitches considers this to be an extreme duty suppressor, but we also carry their media and heavy-duty suppressors and those are going to be lower in capacity than this extreme-duty option. So, but if you don't need the extreme-duty option, if you don't need this high of capacity, take a look at those other options that we carry from BulletProof Hitches. So this is really going to be a quick and easy install. The setup on this is gonna be really fast, it's gonna be hassle-free.
It does include these 4 5/8 of an inch bolts, giving you a secure and straightforward installation process. You'll use two bolts to install this suppressor on the front of your trailer on that channel mount. And then you'll use the other two bolts here to install your trailer coupler, your lunette ring or whatever here on this front channel. Let me go ahead and get my ruler here and just give you some other measurements that might prove helpful to you. So I would like to give you the measurement here of the hole spacing on center. So lining that up there. As you can see, it's 2-inches on center. That's gonna be the case for these holes as well. And then some other measurements. Let's take a look at this front channel here and I wanna give you the outer measurement end to end. So as you can see there, we're sitting right at 3 5/8 inches across, and then the inner width is gonna be 3-inches as you can see right there. And then taking a look at the measurement of our rear channel here, taking a look at that outer width, almost 3-inches. It looks like we're closer to about 2 7/8 inches wide. And then the overall height here at the tallest point, sitting right at about 7 3/4 inches tall. And the overall width might be a little bit trickier here, but let's see if I can show that for you here. So overall, we're gonna be sitting right about 7 1/4 inches overall width end to end. So this is engineered to withstand harsh conditions. This coupler is gonna perform reliably for you in both extreme and desert temperatures and arctic cold. This is built to resist the elements and to ensure consistent performance no matter where you're at. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
