Here I talk about my health journey - the health problems I have been having throughout my life, misdiagnosis, chronic pain, my eventual fibromyalgia diagnosis and the worsening of my gut symptoms.

It is not my usual content but it's an important part of my life so I thought I'd make a video about it in case anyone can benefit from my story. I know when I was first diagnosed with Fibromyalgia I went searching for health stories about it, so I wanted to make this video for those people who might be struggling with the same thing. I can't help but wonder, did my gut issues play a part in the development of fibromyalgia?

I will show you snips of my complete microbiome map and talk about the pricing of getting this test plus the SIBO test. My SIBO results were negative but I also talk about the complications I had during the test. The microbiome mapping found 9x the appropriate level of Streptococcus species within my gut, so I will be taking antibiotics. I talk about the numerous other gut issues detected and treatment for those. I have a "leaky gut" so need to fix that! Hopefully all this treatment will help.

I didn't go into a great amount of detail regarding my fibromyalgia symptoms other than the chronic pain/headaches. If you have any questions leave a comment below!
