What is happening right now with dongle dacs is just incredible. I mean how small could they possibly be? Well, if they get much smaller, I will start losing them (and already have - my Kiwi Ears Allegro went missing for 2 months). So, personally, I really don't care if they actually do get smaller. The DTC800 is just fine. Pushing a whopping 450mW out of the balanced headphone jack, this unit will have no problem powering any of your IEMs and many of your headphones too! This is such a great option for on-the-go amplification and decoding (32bit/384KHz for PCM), that I cannot help but give it my full recommendation. For under $100 (usbc version) it also provides excellent value. Now that I have said everything in the description... lol... watch the video for my impressions and the full details.
