Ilang beses na umanong inalok ng pera si Mayor Benjamin Magalong ng mga gustong magtayo ng POGO sa Baguio City ngunit mariin niya itong tinanggihan.

Ayon sa alkalde, may kapangyarihan naman kasi ang mga lokal na pamahalaan na tanggihan ang operasyon ng POGO sa kanilang nasasakupan.
