In-game, the cinematic of the pike sounds like this track, but mixed with something else. Decided to include it anyway.

After his impressive OPL2-soundtracks for 'Dune', ' KGB' and 'MegaRace', French composer Stéphane Picq continued to make his scores with his own digital samples, like in 'Commander Blood' 'Lost Eden' and this soundtrack for 'Dragon Lore.' There wasn't unlimited room for his melodies on the 2 CD-ROMS which the game came on, but he used a smart system were he divided his melodies in different 'chunks' of just a few seconds. These chunks could be programmed in any order, to give the impression of longer musical pieces. It sounds repetitive now and then, but even under these limitations, Picq comes up with some wonderful gloomy tracks, full of heavy orchestrated melodies mixed with spooky voices and sounds. It still does wonders to bring the (now) primitive 3D-world to life. Enjoy!

TECHNICAL DETAILS

I ripped the music-tracks from the game, using the 'Game Audio Player' (GAP), which you can find here: http://www.vgmpf.com/Wiki/index.php/G...
The game was my guide to put the different chunks of music-files in the same order.
Some music-files were not used in the game, but nonetheless clearly part of the same melody. If so, I put them in the order the filename indicated to get an extended version.
The tracks 'Introduction' and 'Unused Track 1' were downloaded by me years ago from the composers personal website. These tracks can be ripped from the game as well, but are of less quality.
The track 'Game Over' was recorded in-game and wasn't part of the ripped files.
