I’ll start with the Bull. This life-sized statue of a bull is a popular meeting point and point of reference. When you tell someone who knows Kadıköy to “turn left at the Bull” or “meet me at the Bull”, they know exactly what you’re talking about. The Bull is a short walk inland from the ferry terminal at Altıyol Junction. Bahariye is the Paris oasis in the city, from where you can take a tram to Kadikoy. It looks like a beautiful cross-cultural mosaics with its shops, restaurants, decorated sidewalks, a Greek church and an education center.
The street ends (or begins if we follow the one-way logic) by the square with a bull sculpture, which is always crowded. Bahariye Avenue, near Barlar sokak, is a route that traverses the historic tram that connects the fashion enclave with the center of Kadikoy. Throughout it has entertainment options for all tastes, opera, Turkish cafes, restaurants, clubs and shops of all kinds.
