Rich Correll has one of the most fascinating life stories I've EVER heard. In fact I predict his yet to be published memoire will likely be a bestseller especially if it elaborates even more on the amazing stories he shares with us right here! Hear about his life as the son of superstar Charles Correll from Amos and Andy! And speaking of superstars, wait until you hear who Rich had for neighbors as a kid. Hold on to your hats! I must say I'm pretty proud of the fact that I kept up with his awesome name dropping with photos on this video version of the podcast. It totally deserved the extra detail.
We also talk about our mutual love of Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and all things classic film. Rich owns the worlds largest collection of of movie props and costumes from these three genres and has much of it on display at his exhibit "Icons of Darkness" housed on Hollywood Blvd..
We chat about our mutual pal former podcast guest Jerry Mathers. He and Rich have been best buddies in real life ever since they were cast as that in the final three seasons of Leave it to Beaver! The stories he tells about playing Richard Rickover and the way he and Jerry helped to influence some of the storylines and new series concepts for Leave it to Beaver creators Joe Connelly and Bob Mosher. Talk about some great inside info!!
