Girl With Cerebral Palsy Speaks Through Song: Julie's Story - Susan Davis Warren, MT-BC

Music therapy helped unlock what cerebral palsy had kept Julie from saying. "We started working with her with facilitated communication, just writing, taking her time, and found this outpouring of poetic brilliance, really just brilliant stories and songs and things that she wanted to sing and perform," says music therapist Susan Davis Warren. Susan wound up co-writing some songs with Julie, including one about her speech therapist.
