Bill Collins Tribute, Channel 9 News 21 June 2019

William Roderick Collins OAM (4 December 1934 – 20 June 2019) was an Australian film critic and film historian, radio and television presenter, journalist, author and lecturer best known for presenting synopsis of Hollywood films in Australia. He specialised in the Classical Hollywood cinema, and his favourite film was Gone with the Wind. He was well known for his association with Network 10 throughout the 1980s and early 1990s presenting Bill Collins' Golden Years of Hollywood and later with Foxtel, presenting movies on the cable movie channel FOX Classics from 1995 to 2018. Collins resided in Berry, New South Wales with his wife, Joan.
In 2009, Collins was inducted into the Logies Hall of Fame.
